Takers know how to identify givers instantly, and if you never set boundaries, they'll keep taking for as long as you allow it. At some point, accountability matters: fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, and now I have to take responsibility too. Whatever you allow will continue — and if you want different results, you have to do something different.
